Nell'area lacustre di Mjøsa si specchia la città di Gjøvik, headquarter dei black metallers COD, combo che professa la fede black metal sin dal 1993, praticando un suono diretto, ruvido, rispecchiando così i punti cardine del verbo oscuro. La congrega in argomento, fondata dal santone Ingar Amlien, propone un suono fedele al vecchio stile di tale genere musicale caratterizzato da accatastamento di riffs, growls dannate ed atmosfere sinistre. Tra i fiordi norvegesi, quindi va a celebrarsi una nuova funzione del metallo oscuro caratterizzato da nove omelie sonore alquanto brutali e dai sinistri presagi.
